It is hard to believe Golf Season is just around the corner. I am looking out my window and I see snow, but in two weeks it will be beautiful out. (Or so I hope) Handicap week is April 24. We will be teeing off at 6:00 p.m. Starting May 1 our tee time is 6:15. Ironwood raised their rates $.50, so a round is now $13.50 walking. Pull carts and power carts remain the same price as last year. It's $10 for a power cart. There are openings for two teams (4 golfers). If you know of anyone please let me know ASAP.
There also has been a request to play for something. The entrance fee (prize money) is $10 per team. You can give that to me the first or second week. First place is 75%; Second place is 25%.
Ironwood Golf Course is up on the web. You can view the course layout and scorecard. I've been playing the course all winter in my mind and I still put it in the water on that short par 3 (#13). The website is http://www.golfironwoodgc.com/ .
I can't wait to get out and start swinging. If all else fails we will have to get out the orange golf balls.
